On the afternoon of June 30th, the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone held a symposium to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the launch of its first batch of grassroots party building brands. The event focused on deeply studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, carrying forward the great founding spirit of the Party, enhancing the spirit of struggle, igniting enthusiasm for work, striving for progress, and forging ahead to create a new chapter in the integrated development of port, industry, and city in the new era. Ding Feng, Secretary of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Shi Hongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee, presided over the symposium celebrating the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

At the symposium, Ding Feng, on behalf of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee, extended festival greetings to all party organizations and Communist Party members at all levels in the zone, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the vast number of Party members and cadres and the masses who have made important contributions to the economic and social development of the demonstration zone, and paid high tribute to the veteran Party members who have always shared weal and woe with the Party, fought hard, and made contributions throughout the development and construction of the demonstration zone.

Since the beginning of this year, the demonstration zone has made positive progress in strengthening investment attraction, project construction, supporting the growth of large and strong enterprises, and the integrated development of port, industry, and city. These achievements have been made under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the strong leadership of the higher-level Party committees, and are the result of the concerted efforts and valiant struggle of party organizations and Party members at all levels in the demonstration zone. Currently, the demonstration zone is in a critical period of port, industry, and city construction and development. Party organizations and Party members at all levels must shoulder greater responsibilities, innovate, overcome difficulties, and contribute actively to the construction of Tongzhou Bay with more resolute political commitment, stronger fighting will, and more powerful exemplary actions.

Ding Feng emphasized

Loyalty to the Party must be placed first, leading the way and setting an example in upholding the Party's leadership. We must firmly establish Marxist beliefs, resolutely uphold the "two establishes," and temper our loyalty to the Party with firm ideals and beliefs, integrating our individual "small self" into the broader development of Tongzhou Bay to jointly promote the high-quality development of Tongzhou Bay. We must put the "four dares" at the forefront, leading the way and setting an example in serving the overall situation and opening up a new situation. With the emotional commitment of "taking Tongzhou Bay as home" and the emotional pursuit of "taking pride in Tongzhou Bay," we must continuously strengthen key work such as investment attraction, project construction, and supporting the growth of large and strong enterprises, promoting the rapid aggregation of projects and the rapid rise of industries. In the face of implementing the "Double Hundred" project and promoting the "six major tasks," we must achieve breakthroughs with a determination to win, the courage to overcome difficulties, and the tenacity to ensure implementation, creating a new situation for our cause. We must place the people first in our hearts, leading the way and setting an example in serving the people and practicing our purpose. We must firmly establish the people-centered development philosophy, solve the urgent and difficult problems of the masses, comprehensively promote the improvement of the rural living environment, and deeply promote the key projects of improving basic education, attracting people, and improving functions in the demonstration zone, continuously enhancing the people's sense of gain, happiness, and security. We must put comprehensive and strict governance of the Party into practice, leading the way and setting an example in uniting forces to strengthen Party building. Closely focusing on the overall situation of the construction and development of the demonstration zone, we must serve the center, achieve deep integration, and strengthen Party building by rectifying the style of work and enforcing discipline. Based on strengthening standardized and normalized construction, we must continuously enrich the new connotations of Party building work, promote Party building work to create characteristics, highlights, and brands, transform the Party's organizational strength into development strength, and use high-quality Party building to lead and guarantee high-quality development.

At the symposium, awards were presented to representatives of advanced grassroots party organizations, outstanding Communist Party members, and outstanding party workers, and "Glorious 50 Years in the Party" medals were presented to representatives of veteran Party members in the demonstration zone. Three representatives of "Two Outstanding and One Excellent" made exchange speeches.

At the party building brand launch ceremony, five grassroots party organization party building brands were launched: "Bibo Jintang, Fumei Yishe" of the Yishe Village Party Branch, "Jian Yao Lanhai" of the Procuratorate Party Branch, "Bay Affairs Worry-Free, E-Road Accompaniment" of the Administrative Approval Bureau Party Branch, "Forge "Three Hearts", Cultivate People for the Party" of the Haiyan Primary School and Haiyan Kindergarten Joint Party Branch, and "Burning Passion, Ingenious Dreams" of the Huarui (Jiangsu) Gas Turbine Service Co., Ltd. Party Branch. These brands are representative of the government, rural areas, education, and "two new" organizations.

In recent years, the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone has focused on the central overall situation, strengthened its foundation, made up for its shortcomings, established brands, and created characteristics, continuously improving the strength of its grassroots organizations and significantly enhancing the leading role of Party building. The "one branch, one product" party building brand has become a highlight. This launch ceremony aims to use brand demonstration to create more party building brands that are "well-known, reliable, distinctive, effective, and widely applicable," gradually forming a "Bay Unity" party building brand cluster with distinct characteristics, comprehensive fields, and clear demonstrations. This will continuously push the creation of party building brands to a deeper level in the new journey of constructing the integrated development demonstration zone of port, industry, and city, providing a Tongzhou Bay model for high-quality Party building leading development and construction in the new era.
