Cheng Bin, director of the Municipal Education Bureau, investigated the educational work in the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone

On July 3, Cheng Bin, Secretary of the Nantong Municipal Committee of Education, Party Committee Secretary, and Director of the Education Bureau, led a team to the demonstration zone to investigate the development of education in Tongzhou Bay. Ding Feng, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone, and Shi Hongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee, participated in the investigation.

Cheng Bin's team visited the salt-tolerant rice planting base at Nantong Zilan No. 1 Primary School Tongzhou Bay Branch, the newly built teaching building at Nantong Municipal Government No. 1 Kindergarten Tongzhou Bay Branch, and the newly built project at Jiangsu Nantong Tian Jiabing Middle School Tongzhou Bay Branch. They listened to a detailed report on the progress of Tongzhou Bay Middle School's work in establishing itself as a four-star high school in Jiangsu Province.

At a subsequent symposium, Cheng Bin carefully listened to a report on the educational work in the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone and relevant suggestions and opinions. He also held talks with the main leaders of the demonstration zone, department heads, and representatives of school principals.

Cheng Bin fully affirmed the achievements of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone in education reform and development. He stated that the Municipal Education Bureau will further enhance its political standing, fully understand the pivotal position of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone as a key area where multiple national strategies overlap, including the Yangtze River Delta integration, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and the development of Jiangsu's coastal areas. The bureau will continue to regard supporting the high-quality development of education in the demonstration zone as an inescapable responsibility; Jiangsu Nantong Middle School should fully support the construction of the "Nantong Middle School Class" at Tongzhou Bay Middle School; Jiangsu Nantong Tian Jiabing Middle School, Nantong Zilan No. 1 Primary School, and Nantong Municipal Government No. 1 Kindergarten should fully support the operation of their Tongzhou Bay branches, making them desirable schools for Nantong students; the Municipal Education Bureau will provide all-round support to Tongzhou Bay to overcome institutional and mechanism constraints, building a "reform experimental field" for education talent cultivation, enrollment systems, teaching and research management, and educational supervision and evaluation, and creating a high-quality education chain from kindergarten to high school in deep cooperation with directly-administered schools in Nantong.

Ding Feng pointed out that with the care and support of the Nantong Municipal Education Bureau, the cooperation between directly-administered schools has led Tongzhou Bay's education to "start and advance simultaneously," and its achievements have won widespread praise from all sectors of society. The creation of Tongzhou Bay Middle School as a provincial four-star high school is entering the final countdown, and the full launch of the "Nantong Middle School Class" at Tongzhou Bay Middle School will help further build a high-quality education system throughout the demonstration zone. The demonstration zone will continue to increase investment in education, care for the growth of teachers, and strive to make Tongzhou Bay a "highland of education" that satisfies the people.

Shi Hongjie stated that the demonstration zone will continue to boost morale, forge ahead, innovate ideas, implement precise policies, and steadily advance reforms in education mechanisms and systems, using reform and innovation to promote development and improvement.
