On July 12, Jiang Hua, Party Secretary and Director of the Nantong Municipal Sports Bureau, and Zhang Yunfei, Deputy Director, visited the demonstration zone to investigate the development of sports in Tongzhou Bay. Shi Hongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone, and Bao Xiaowang, Member of the Party Working Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, participated in the investigation.

Jiang Hua and his team investigated fitness facilities such as the Tuanjie Xinzha Pedestrian and Cycling Path and the Tengfei Fitness Center, and learned in detail about the construction and operation of sports facilities in the demonstration zone.

Jiang Hua gave full affirmation to the sports work in the demonstration zone. He pointed out that it is necessary to strictly implement national requirements for the construction of public fitness facilities in newly built residential areas, increase the investment in fitness equipment and the construction of fitness squares in the demonstration zone, and improve the level of sports facilities. It is also necessary to actively support the development of the sports service industry and promote sports consumption.

Shi Hongjie stated that Tongzhou Bay will make good use of its unique bay resources to continuously strengthen the construction of sports facilities; innovate forms and widely organize mass fitness events to improve the quality of mass sports services; vigorously promote the development of the sports industry, optimize the business environment, and make every effort to meet the growing fitness needs of the masses.

Relevant department heads from the Nantong Municipal Sports Bureau and relevant responsible persons from the Social Management and Security Bureau of the demonstration zone participated in the investigation.
