Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone organizes a research, study and exchange activity for the "Hundreds and Thousands Project"

To implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the "Ten Million Project" and the decisions and deployments of the provincial and municipal committees, learn from the advanced experience of Zhejiang's "Ten Million Project," promote the in-depth implementation of the "Hundred Thousand Project," and create a new landscape of beautiful rural harbors, from July 24th to 25th, Shi Xingkai, deputy secretary of the demonstration zone party committee, led a team to conduct research and study in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, and Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province.

Shi Xingkai and his team visited Changsheng Village in Ganyao Town, Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province; Xin Feng Village in Luoxing Street, Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province; and Yongxing Village in Deji Street, Zhangjiagang City for research and study. From upgrading rural infrastructure to improving the rural living environment, from improving rural housing conditions to building characteristic rural gardens, from protecting traditional villages to cultivating civilized rural customs... everyone walked, saw, and understood along the way, constantly exploring the successful "code" for building livable and workable beautiful rural areas and solidly advancing rural revitalization.

In Changsheng Village, the focus was on visiting and learning about the development model of unified development and utilization of idle homesteads in the village and the project of introducing the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf IP to develop rural tourism.

In Xinfeng Village, the focus was on visiting and learning about methods of increasing village collective income, such as "enclave group development," the "strong village plan," and independent construction, and in-depth understanding of the development model of "rural music culture + beautiful ecological cultural tourism" to promote the deep integration of culture and industry.

In Yongxing Village, the focus was on visiting and learning about the development model based on "ecology + cultural tourism," which includes cleaning up river systems, creating ecological banks, improving village environments, and developing characteristic industrial cultures.

After the on-site research and study, the research team quickly organized a "Hundred Thousand Project" research exchange meeting and a "Secretary's Speech" activity. Relevant government departments exchanged policy needs based on the research and study, opening up work ideas for village development; each village combined its own actual situation to analyze its development advantages and disadvantages and discussed development ideas.

Shi Xingkai pointed out at the research exchange meeting, We must adhere to party leadership and make good "planning moves." Identify the gaps and shortcomings between the village and advanced villages, carefully learn from the feasible and replicable experiences of advanced villages, strengthen the leadership team, systematically plan and tailor development blueprints based on the actual situation of the village, and comprehensively promote rural construction. We must persist in long-term efforts and make good "implementation moves." We should frequently visit higher-level departments to actively seek support in terms of funding, projects, planning, publicity, and work guidance; frequently visit the homes of the people to win the trust and support of the masses and local talents. We must adhere to innovative development and make effective "highlight moves." We should not only deeply explore the unique highlights of the village that can be seen, heard, bought, and lived in, but also rely on our own efforts and practical conditions to create highlights, vigorously develop rural industries and rural tourism, and blaze a path for sustainable and green development to enrich the people and revitalize the villages.
