Hello! The State Council has decided to conduct the Fifth National Economic Census to comprehensively reflect the development scale, layout, and efficiency of the secondary and tertiary industries in our country and to ascertain the basic situation of various units. To accurately determine the objects and types of the Fifth National Economic Census and ensure that census units are neither duplicated nor omitted, a comprehensive census of various units is required before the official census registration on January 1, 2024. The relevant content is notified as follows:

I. The Fifth National Economic Census The unit census work will begin in August 2023. At that time, census personnel wearing "Census Enumerator Certificate" or "Census Supervisor Certificate" will come to your place to collect information from the census form.

II. Please prepare your business license and other relevant certificates in advance to facilitate the census enumerator's rapid information collection. Please also prepare statistical accounts, relevant financial statements, and other materials for the formal census registration.

III. According to the provisions of the "Statistics Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Implementation Regulations of the Statistics Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Regulations on the National Economic Census", please actively cooperate with the census enumerator's work and provide true and accurate information in a timely manner. For census respondents who refuse or obstruct the census institutions and census personnel from carrying out their work in accordance with the law, or who falsely report, conceal, or omit census data, administrative penalties will be imposed in accordance with the law. Seriously illegal enterprises will be legally identified as enterprises with serious statistical dishonesty, and will be pushed to the national credit information sharing platform and the national enterprise credit information publicity system, and publicized on the "Credit China" website.

IV. All levels of census institutions and census personnel will strictly keep confidential the information you provide. The information you provide will only be used for census purposes and will not be used as a basis for specific administrative actions such as administrative licensing and administrative penalties, except as a basis for statistical law enforcement.

V. If any census institution or census personnel engages in illegal activities or harms the interests of your unit, please report it to the Leading Group Office of the Fifth National Economic Census of Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone in a timely manner.
