The Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone held a commendation meeting to celebrate the 39th Teachers' Day, with the theme "Cultivating the Fields and Shaping the Nation: We Are Committed to Strengthening Our Country".

To commend outstanding educators and advanced collectives in the education sector and promote a social atmosphere of respecting teachers, the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone held a commendation ceremony celebrating the 39th Teachers' Day on the afternoon of September 8th. Ding Feng, Party Committee Secretary, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Shi Hongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee, presided over the meeting and read out the commendation decision.

Ding Feng first extended warm congratulations on behalf of the Demonstration Zone's Party Committee and Management Committee to all the advanced individuals and outstanding teams that received commendations, and extended holiday greetings to the numerous education workers who have diligently worked on this fertile land of Tongzhouwan.

Ding Feng pointed out that the Demonstration Zone's Party Committee and Management Committee have always adhered to the strategy of prioritizing education, deeply implemented education reforms, continuously increased investment in education, actively improved school conditions, and cultivated cooperation and co-construction "experimental fields." The overall education sector in the area has shown a good trend of rapid and healthy development. The public's trust, satisfaction, and sense of gain in education have continuously increased, injecting new impetus into the high-quality integrated development of the port, industry, and city.

Ding Feng encouraged the education workers in the demonstration zone to always remember their primary identity as "teachers," their primary task of "education," their primary pursuit of "academic excellence," and their primary standard of "teacher morality." They should remember their mission, be loyal to their responsibilities, be willing to act as a ladder for others, dedicate their love, keep up with the times, pursue lifelong learning, cultivate moral character, and set an example for others. They should strive to build a strong district with high-quality, high-standard, and branded modernized education.

Ding Feng emphasized that the demonstration zone will earnestly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches on education, further promote the high-quality development of Tongzhouwan's education sector, wholeheartedly care for the physical and mental health of teachers, and create a good environment for teachers' professional growth, teaching and educating people, and showcasing their talents, so that respecting teachers will become a prevalent ethos in Tongzhouwan.

Shi Hongjie, in his presiding remarks, pointed out that the entire district's education system and numerous education workers should take the advanced as role models, comprehensively create a strong atmosphere of emulation and striving to be the best, and always adhere to the quality of education as the "lifeline" of educational development. They should further deepen the cooperation and co-construction mechanism, explore distinctive educational approaches, accelerate curriculum and teaching reforms, comprehensively improve the level of educational and teaching management, and strive to accelerate the creation of a new "business card" for high-quality education in Tongzhouwan with solid educational quality.
