To thoroughly implement the series of decisions and deployments made by the central, provincial, and municipal committees, on September 17, the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone held an on-site promotion meeting on the improvement of rural human settlements environment during the "Village Cleaning Day."

Ding Feng pointed out:

The "Demonstration of Thousands of Villages, Improvement of Ten Thousand Villages" project is a major decision personally planned, deployed, and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his time working in Zhejiang. We must be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, use "Village Cleaning Day" as a lever, actively participate in the "Hundred Thousand Project," and comprehensively improve the rural human settlements environment level of the demonstration zone.

Ding Feng emphasized:

The improvement of the rural human settlements environment is a people's war. We must insist on party members taking the lead and demonstrating, and boldly mobilize the masses. All grassroots party organizations must go deep into the front lines among the masses, guide the masses to treat environmental improvement as their own matter, a matter that benefits everyone, a matter that requires long-term efforts, and a matter that remembers their hometown's nostalgia, forming a strong atmosphere where everyone is responsible, everyone participates, and everyone benefits.

All levels of grassroots party organizations must correctly handle the relationship between concentrated improvement and habit formation, standardized improvement and demonstration leadership, environmental improvement and rural revitalization, strictly follow the phased task list, benchmark and compare to improve and make up for shortcomings, create characteristics and set examples, ensure that one area is improved, one area meets standards, and one area is managed and protected, continuously accumulating small victories into big victories, and promoting the achievement of solid results in the improvement of the human settlements environment. We must strengthen organizational leadership, adhere to comprehensive coordination, systematically plan in action, mechanism, and policy, innovate and act, and provide a strong guarantee for the improvement of the rural human settlements environment.
