Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education Office issued the "Notice on the List of Created Units of Jiangsu Provincial Digital Demonstration Schools (Kindergartens) for Family-School (Kindergarten) Co-education", and Tongzhouwan Experimental Kindergarten is on the list.


In March 2021, Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone and Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten cooperated to establish Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten Tongzhouwan Branch - Tongzhouwan Experimental Kindergarten. Leveraging the high-quality educational resources of the famous kindergarten, Tongzhouwan Experimental Kindergarten has developed rapidly. It has successively become a high-quality kindergarten in Jiangsu Province and a football-themed kindergarten in Nantong City, and has been awarded the titles of "Rule of Law Demonstration Kindergarten" in Nantong City, "School with No Teachers or Students Participating in Irregular Training" in Nantong City, Tongzhouwan "Youth May Fourth Medal Collective", and "March 8th Red Banner Collective", among other honors.

The demonstration zone Party Working Committee and Management Committee have increased the intensity of school construction with high positioning, high starting point, and high configuration. The kindergarten has completed the construction of the enhanced version of the smart campus, with full coverage of high-speed Gigabit wireless network. Each class is equipped with Hiwo electronic blackboards, video display stands, and mobile speakers; each teacher is equipped with laptops and mobile hard drives. Large electronic display screens are installed to display school activities and conduct scientific parenting publicity, creating good conditions for the development of information technology education.

Explore New Models for Family-School Co-education
The kindergarten works together with families to promote scientific early childhood education. A two-level three-dimensional organizational network of kindergarten family committees and class family committees has been established, and a series of family-school co-education systems have been improved. The headmaster serves as the team leader, and representatives from each class are elected as members, along with representatives from the community. This unites efforts, improves communication channels, establishes special funds for activities, and actively explores new models for family-school co-education in the context of new development and new times.

In the context of curriculum reform, the kindergarten holds parent meetings for close communication, introduces democratic management to the parent school, and leverages the advantages of the network for timely and efficient communication. Changing the traditional mode of family-school communication, the "online family-school" approach has been opened, sharing photos or videos of curriculum summaries, children's lives, games, and learning in parent groups, allowing parents to understand their children's status in the kindergarten at any time.
