The Tongzhou Bay branch of the Jiu San Society was established

On the morning of November 4th, the establishment meeting of the Jiu San Society Tongzhou Bay Branch was held. Wang Wensheng, Deputy Minister of the Municipal Committee of the United Front Work Department; Ji Hongxing, Chairman of the Nantong Municipal Committee of the Jiu San Society; and Shi Xingkai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Zhang Aijuan, the full-time vice chairman and secretary-general of the Municipal Committee of the Society, presided over the meeting.

Prior to the establishment meeting, a general meeting of all members of the Tongzhou Bay was convened. A briefing on the preparatory work for the establishment of the Jiu San Society Tongzhou Bay Branch was heard, the decision to establish the Jiu San Society Tongzhou Bay Branch Committee was announced, and the first committee of the Jiu San Society Tongzhou Bay Branch was elected. Zhang Zhekang was elected as the chairman, Chen Jie as the vice chairman, and Zhang Yueyang as a member.

Wang Wensheng stated that the Jiu San Society Tongzhou Bay Branch is the first grassroots organization of a democratic party established in Tongzhou Bay, marking a new step forward for the United Front and multi-party cooperation in Tongzhou Bay. He hoped that under the leadership of the Municipal Committee of the Jiu San Society and the Party Working Committee of Tongzhou Bay, the Tongzhou Bay branch leadership would fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of its members, strengthen theoretical education, enhance political standing; leverage functional advantages, consolidate development synergy; strengthen its own construction, and play a model role. He urged them to transform their enthusiasm and fighting spirit in fulfilling their responsibilities within the organization into a powerful driving force to promote high-quality development in Tongzhou Bay, and to achieve new successes for Nantong's multi-party cooperation and high-quality development.

Ji Hongxing stated that upgrading the Tongzhou Bay group to a branch is of great significance to promoting the grassroots organization building of the Jiu San Society Nantong Municipal Committee and advancing the development of multi-party cooperation in our city. He hoped that the Tongzhou Bay branch would strengthen political study, uphold the correct political direction; leverage members' strengths, fulfill the functions of the party; focus on organizational development, and steadily improve team quality; strengthen standardized construction, and play a leading role in the system; and strengthen cooperation and exchanges, and promote common growth. At the same time, in the process of carrying out social work, actively strengthen communication and coordination with the Tongzhou Bay Party Working Committee, target the key development points of Tongzhou Bay, combine with "Nine-Tong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation," encourage members to love their jobs, devote themselves to research, and make contributions in both their professional and party roles, to make due contributions to the construction and development of Tongzhou Bay.

Shi Xingkai stated that the Jiu San Society Tongzhou Bay Branch is a new platform for members of the Jiu San Society Nantong Municipal Committee to fulfill their responsibilities. He hoped that the Jiu San Society Tongzhou Bay Branch would inherit and carry forward the political beliefs, fine traditions, and noble style formed by the older generation of Jiu San Society members and the Chinese Communist Party in their long-term close cooperation; focusing on the socio-economic development of Tongzhou Bay, leading characteristic industries, and hot issues related to people's livelihood, to offer good suggestions, devise good strategies, adopt practical measures, and seek practical results; continuously improve political grasp, participation in political affairs, organizational leadership, cooperation, and the ability to solve their own problems, so as to strive to draw the largest and most beautiful concentric circles for the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone on the road of high-quality development in "taking the lead and setting an example".

Zhang Zhekang, on behalf of the first branch committee, made a statement, indicating that he would continue to carry forward the fine traditions of patriotism, democracy, and science of the Jiu San Society, lead branch members to actively participate in political affairs, focus on central work, serve the overall development, actively participate in the "Nine-Tong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation" work, and strive to create a positive atmosphere of catching up and surpassing in the field of science and technology, contributing Jiu San's strength to the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone's focus on "science and technology attributes," helping park enterprises stimulate technological innovation vitality, and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading.
