On November 6, Lu Hongjian, Party Secretary of the First People's Hospital of Nantong City, and Chu Xiaobin, Party Vice Secretary and Executive Vice President, visited the Tongzhou Bay area to investigate the opening preparations of the Tongzhou Bay Branch of the First People's Hospital of Nantong City (Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone People's Hospital). Shi Hongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Demonstration Zone, and Shi Xingkai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee, participated in the event.

Lu Hongjian and his entourage visited the outpatient and emergency building and the ward building of the Tongzhou Bay branch of the First People's Hospital of Nantong City, and learned in detail about the equipment installation and debugging, information access, and personnel recruitment. Lu Hongjian stated that the Tongzhou Bay branch of the First People's Hospital of Nantong City has a high starting point, fast construction speed, and reasonable process settings. The First People's Hospital of Nantong City will further focus on the opening preparation work of the branch hospital, and play a leading role in the medical consortium in terms of expert team support, information interconnection, and business management, and work together with the demonstration zone to build the Tongzhou Bay branch of the First People's Hospital of Nantong City into a modern, high-quality hospital with regional characteristics.

He pointed out that the new hospital construction project is a key people's livelihood project in the demonstration zone in recent years and another major measure for the demonstration zone and the First People's Hospital of Nantong City to jointly build a closely integrated medical consortium. Currently, the opening preparation work of the new hospital has entered the final sprint stage.
