During the activity, Xinmin Village distributed "Selected Readings on Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" to veteran Party members. Holding the "Selected Readings," the Party members were beaming with joy; some couldn't wait to read them. The weighty books are their "theoretical gas station," providing motivation and direction for their future work.

Recently, Yishe Village organized some Party members and villagers to carry out the "Entering the Reading Room, Enjoying Reading" themed reading activity in the village reading room.

During the activity, villagers carefully selected books from the shelves that interested them. Some read literary works, some legal publications, and some books on farming and animal husbandry. After reading, they shared their experiences and insights. Veteran Party member Huang Dajie shared, "Reading not only improves one's knowledge but also encourages others to develop good reading habits." The atmosphere was lively.

Today, reading has become a new trend and good habit in Yishe Village. Yishe Village will continue to plan nationwide reading activities, integrating reading into life and reaching the masses, guiding positive rural and folk customs, and allowing the "small" reading room to play a big role!

Promoting Modern Family Values, Sharing the Joy of Reading at the "Center"

To promote the in-depth development of community family education and family values, bringing good family values into people's homes, on May 16, the Center Community relied on the village reading room to carry out the "Entering the Reading Room, Enjoying Reading" nationwide reading activity.

During the activity, the Center Community prepared spiritual food for the participating Party members and villagers—three books: "Integrity in Family Life," "Strict Self-Discipline in Family Life," and "Selected Readings on Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era." Everyone read them with relish as soon as they received them.

More than halfway through the activity, Party members actively shared their reading experiences. Shi Chunhua, an aspiring Party member, shared that Zhong Nanshan's family values truly embody the saying, "Good family values are the greatest treasure of a family." Zhong Nanshan's "reverse journey" during the outbreak of the epidemic in early 2020 reflects his unassuming and upright family values. Good family values are a precious asset that benefits a person for life and keeps a family strong.
