To further strengthen intellectual property protection, firmly establish the leading position of enterprises in scientific and technological innovation, and maximize the stimulation of innovation potential, on the morning of March 11, the Demonstration Zone Economic Development Bureau, together with the procuratorate and the market supervision and administration bureau, held a special training session on high-quality patent cultivation in the demonstration zone. Qin Jian, member of the Party Working Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech.

At the training session, the Demonstration Zone Market Supervision and Administration Bureau gave a special lecture on the "drip irrigation plan" for the precise cultivation of invention patents; the Economic Development Bureau focused on explaining the patent requirements in various scientific and technological plans; and the procuratorate, combining specific cases, explained in a simple and easy-to-understand manner the relevant laws and regulations on the protection of trade secrets.

Qin Jian emphasized that innovation-driven development is the inevitable choice for high-quality regional development. We must strengthen overall thinking, establish a long-term perspective, and adhere to innovation empowerment. Scientific and technological innovation is the only way for enterprises to grow and develop. We must increase the intensity of scientific and technological innovation and product research and development, accelerate the transformation of scientific research achievements, and continuously improve core competitiveness. Patent cultivation is a strong support for innovation-driven development. We must apply what we have learned and effectively transform the training achievements into scientific and technological empowerment and improvement, injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of the demonstration zone.

In recent years, the demonstration zone has seized the strategic opportunities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt for Science and Technology Innovation and the Yangtze River Estuary Industrial Innovation Collaborative Zone, issued 30 measures for scientific and technological innovation, regularly carried out "on-site policy" activities for science and technology, cultivated innovative thinking, and built a tiered cultivation mechanism covering the entire process from investment, production, and completion to high-tech enterprise application, specialized and new enterprise cultivation, and enterprise listing and listing, vigorously supporting enterprises to grow bigger, stronger, and better.
