Lu Zhong Hua stated that Tongzhou Bay is unswervingly following the work approach of "grasping projects firmly, cultivating superior industries, and increasing the total volume," making every effort to promote project aggregation, population introduction, and industrial rise. Taking the construction of the Tongzhou Bay petrochemical dual-circulation base and Jiangsu Ocean Industry Characteristic Park as an opportunity, it will accelerate the formation of new productive forces in the new materials and marine equipment fields. Jiangbei New Area has achieved remarkable results in industrial development, innovation leadership, ecological protection, and open cooperation, serving as a model and benchmark for Tongzhou Bay to learn from, catch up with, and surpass in creating new productive forces and promoting high-quality development. The demonstration zone and the new area have similar development histories. It is hoped that this visit will serve as an opportunity to further communicate and coordinate with the new area, integrate resources, complement each other's advantages, and enhance connections, strengthen relationships, and solidify cooperation through regular study visits and project docking activities.

Before the meeting, Wu Heng and his delegation visited the Tongzhou Bay Planning Exhibition Hall, the main port area of Tongzhou Bay, the green chemical expansion area, the modern textile industrial park wastewater treatment plant, Xin Kaichi Textile, Huarui (Jiangsu) Gas Turbine Service Co., Ltd. in the high-tech comprehensive industrial park, Nantong Zilang No. 1 Primary School Tongzhou Bay branch, Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten Tongzhou Bay branch, and Tianshun Marine Engineering in the high-end equipment coastal industrial park, comprehensively and deeply understanding the development history, port construction, and the "five parks, one city, and one base" planning layout of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone.
