At Nantong Sandar Aquatic Seedling Co., Ltd., Liu Hong and his entourage went deep into the seedling base to conduct in-depth exchanges with the person in charge on the green breeding model adopted by the base, the cultivation of Procambarus clarkii seedlings, and the scale of breeding. The company is engaged in marine science and technology research and development and aquatic product breeding and sales, and is committed to building a high-quality, factory-style aquatic seed base. The entire production process achieves water recycling, with no wastewater discharge and no environmental pollution. Liu Hong pointed out that it is necessary to vigorously promote scientific breeding methods, utilize modern aquatic seedling breeding concepts, use factory-style circulating water as the core water treatment technology, build a high-yield, high-quality, efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly factory-style Procambarus clarkii seedling demonstration base, and actively innovate China's seed industry development.

At the Sanyu Town Green Field Family Farm, Liu Hong listened to the report on the grain planting area of the demonstration zone, learned in detail about the progress of spring plowing and preparation, and inspected the growth of wheat seedlings on the spot. He gave full affirmation to the grain production capacity of the demonstration zone. In 2023, the demonstration zone had a rice planting area of 38,000 mu and an autumn-sown wheat area of 81,000 mu. In 2024, it is striving to achieve a grain output of more than 183 million catties. The Green Field Family Farm has a stable annual yield of wheat at around 1,000 catties per mu and rice at 1,500-1,600 catties per mu. In 2024, the farm will participate in the Nantong City annual high-yield rice and wheat competition as a high-yield and stable-yield rice and wheat field in the Tongzhou Bay demonstration zone. Liu Hong emphasized the need to implement grain planting tasks, guide operating entities and farmers to do a good job in various spring plowing production technologies, give full play to the demonstration role of high-yield competitions, transform the high-yield wheat and rice competition demonstration area into a green, high-quality, and high-efficiency demonstration area for wheat and rice, and push the per-unit yield of wheat and rice to a new level.
