On March 18, Li Guihe, head of the preparatory group of China Petroleum Blue Ocean New Materials Co., Ltd., led a team to the project site for a field investigation. Lu Zhonghua, secretary of the demonstration zone's Party Working Committee; Shi Hongjie, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee; and Shi Xingkai, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee, participated in the investigation.

At the site, Li Guihe and his team learned in detail about the progress of land backfilling, the results of trial compaction and testing, and the progress of temporary road construction. They affirmed the progress of the project construction and put forward specific requirements for the factory area and overall planning.

Lu Zhonghua stated that the demonstration zone will concentrate its efforts, integrate policies, and gather resources. Together with the China Petroleum Blue Ocean project preparatory group, they will work on the five "attack maps," striving to make progress in key areas such as port area planning revisions and project inclusion in regulations, and will accelerate the substantive commencement of the project with a "nail-driving" spirit.

It is understood that the new materials project invested by China Petroleum is the "number one project" in the construction of the Tongzhou Bay petrochemical dual-circulation base. It is also a major deployment by China Petroleum to implement structural transformation, achieve "dual carbon and three new" goals, promote integrated development of upstream and downstream industries, and enhance resource value. The demonstration zone will strive for progress through competition, focusing on key difficulties such as park approval and shoreline approval, working together and rapidly advancing to provide efficient service and support for the early commencement of major projects.
