On March 26, Shang Qingfei, Party Secretary of Nantong University, and his delegation visited the demonstration zone for research, with Lu Zhong Hua, Party Secretary of the demonstration zone, participating in the research.

Lu Zhong Hua extended a warm welcome to Shang Qingfei's delegation. He pointed out that Nantong University has always adhered to the principle of talent cultivation as its core, boasting a complete range of disciplines, excellent teaching quality, and significant educational effectiveness. It has cultivated and provided a large number of outstanding talents for Nantong's high-quality development. He hopes that both sides will take this research as an opportunity to continuously expand cooperation areas, build a broad exchange platform, further promote the joint construction and sharing of technological research and development and scientific and technological innovation resources, strengthen the deep integration of production, education, research, and application, achieve precise docking of the innovation chain and the industrial chain, and better serve regional economic development. He looks forward to establishing a closer cooperative relationship with Nantong University in areas such as joint construction of school-local platforms, talent cultivation, and technological achievement transformation, injecting new impetus and creating new advantages for the high-quality development of the demonstration zone's economy and society.

Shang Qingfei's delegation visited the Tongzhou Bay Planning Exhibition Hall, the High-end Equipment Port Industrial Park, and the Tongzhou Bay Science and Technology City, gaining an in-depth understanding of the development history, strategic positioning, and layout planning of the demonstration zone, and learning in detail about the enrollment, education, and teaching of the Science and Technology City. He stated that Tongzhou Bay is a forefront position in Jiangsu's coastal development and a major carrier for Nantong's superior river and sea expansion and river-sea linkage development. Nantong University will focus on the industrial characteristics and needs of Tongzhou Bay, give full play to the school's scientific and technological intellectual resources advantages, further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, promote the common development of scientific research and industry, and provide talent reserves and technical support for the construction of key industries in Tongzhou Bay such as high-end marine equipment, electronic information, and high-end textiles, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results between universities and localities.
