On the afternoon of March 28, an expert group led by Zhang Wenlong, a member of the Party Committee and a second-level researcher of the Jiangsu Provincial Maritime Law Enforcement and Supervision Center, conducted an on-site inspection of Tongzhouwan Middle School's establishment of a "National Marine Science Popularization Education Base," commissioned by the Chinese Society of Oceanography. Bao Xiaowang, member of the Party Working Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the demonstration zone, accompanied the inspection.
The expert group inspected the campus and marine science popularization education venues, reviewed the creation work account book materials, and listened to the school's creation work report.
At the feedback meeting on the inspection opinions, the expert group pointed out that Tongzhouwan Middle School's marine science popularization education has a high starting point, an early start, detailed planning, complete facilities, practical measures, and numerous achievements. It fully demonstrates the school's marine cultural characteristics and its pursuit of school development through the sea and towards the sea, laying a solid foundation for the school's characteristic development.
Bao Xiaowang welcomed and thanked the expert group for their guidance. He stated that the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of the demonstration zone will continue to firmly support Tongzhouwan Middle School in establishing a "National Marine Science Popularization Education Base" and a high-quality Jiangsu Provincial marine science and technology characteristic high school. The opinions and suggestions put forward by the expert group on the school's establishment work will be carefully understood, accurately benchmarked, and implemented item by item by the competent authorities and the school to ensure the high-level operation and high-quality promotion of the school's marine science popularization education.
