On April 10, 2024, Nantong City's second "Inclusive Education Research and Smart Teaching" event for kindergartens was held. Early childhood education researchers, kindergarten principals, and representative teachers from all counties (cities, districts) gathered in Tongzhou Bay to fully experience the achievements of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone's three-year "renowned school + cross-regional cooperation" model.

In 2021, the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone and the Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten established a partnership, creating the Tongzhou Bay branch of the Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten. Leveraging the high-quality educational resources of the renowned kindergarten, the branch rapidly developed. During the event, Xu Shushu, the principal of the Tongzhou Bay branch of the Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten, gave a special lecture titled "Deep Integration of Cross-Regional Education, Creating a New Chapter for Early Childhood Education." Representatives also observed outdoor games at the Tongzhou Bay branch of the Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten.

Tires of various sizes, ladders of varying lengths, widths, and materials, various wooden materials, and cute little animals… At the outdoor game site, various interesting game courses led representatives to take out their phones to take pictures. "The courses are very rich, integrating nature exploration courses, health and fitness courses, fun festival courses, and life growth courses into 'happy life' gamified courses. This can better guide young children to learn and explore in life and games, improving their core literacy. I am deeply inspired." said Teacher Gu from a kindergarten in the urban area.

It is understood that nearly 65% of the children at the Tongzhou Bay branch of the Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten come from families of migrant workers. While actively promoting gamified courses, the kindergarten also works to improve parents' understanding of education through principal lectures, parent schools, half-day open houses, parent-child activities, and weekly home-school communication, integrating scientific educational concepts comprehensively.

In recent years, the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone has focused on its positioning as Nantong's urban sub-center and the center of "Greater Tongzhou Bay." Education is a key element in improving urban functions and service capabilities. With the completion of the Tongzhou Bay branch of Jiangsu Nantong Tianjiabing Middle School and the teaching building of the Tongzhou Bay branch of the Nantong Municipal Government's First Kindergarten, and the official launch of the "Nantong Middle School Class" at Tongzhou Bay Middle School, Tongzhou Bay's basic education has formed a high-quality education chain covering all levels from kindergarten to high school.
