On April 15, a demonstration zone Party Working Committee meeting and a Party Working Committee Party Building Work Leading Group meeting were held to convey and study the spirit of relevant central, provincial, and municipal Party committee meetings, and to study and deploy the Party discipline study and education work in the demonstration zone. Lu Zhong Hua, secretary of the demonstration zone Party Working Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting pointed out that carrying out Party discipline study and education throughout the Party is a "major undertaking of the Party" personally planned and promoted by the General Secretary, and is an important measure to strengthen the Party's discipline building and promote the in-depth development of the Party's overall strict governance. We must build a solid foundation of "loyalty," the soul of governance; establish "cleanliness," the foundation of one's standing; and grasp "responsibility," the key to performing one's duties. We must educate and guide Party members and cadres to uphold the "two establishes" and achieve the "two safeguards," knowing what to do and what not to do, and obeying orders without question. We must bravely shoulder heavy burdens and responsibilities, transforming the enthusiasm for work inspired by study and education into a powerful driving force to promote the new practice of Tongzhou Bay's Chinese-style modernization, and to add luster to the overall situation with the development of one area.

The meeting emphasized that the Party organizations at all levels in the demonstration zone should earnestly implement the Central Committee's "Notice," the Provincial Party Committee's and Municipal Party Committee's, as well as the demonstration zone Party Working Committee's "Implementation Plan," and earnestly do a good job in studying the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China." We must study the original text, encouraging Party members and cadres to learn and grasp Party rules and regulations wholeheartedly. We must learn through interpretation and training, using methods such as opening special columns and conducting cadre training to do a good job in researching, interpreting, and publicizing the "Regulations," urging Party members and cadres to tighten the strings of discipline and safeguard the bottom line of integrity. We must focus on learning through warning education, educating people around us with things around us, learning from cases, correcting deviations, and making Party members and cadres have awe in their hearts and restrain their actions. We must learn through serious self-examination and comparison, insisting on the integration of learning, examination, and rectification, integrating the establishment of systems and regulations throughout the process, continuously strengthening the "dam" against corruption and preventing degeneration, and guiding Party members and cadres to act immediately, rectify immediately, and strengthen self-reflection.

The meeting emphasized the need to implement work responsibilities. The demonstration zone's Party building work leading group should strengthen the overall coordination of the study and education throughout the zone, and the leading members of the Party Working Committee should lead by example. All levels of Party organizations should assume their main responsibilities. All grassroots Party committees should quickly deploy Party discipline study and education, and all Party branches should make arrangements for Party discipline study and education through methods such as "three meetings and one class" and themed Party days. We must strengthen coordinated promotion, combining Party discipline study and education with the implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on Jiangsu's work, so that cadres and the masses can see tangible new changes and a new atmosphere. We must strengthen classified guidance, conducting Party discipline study and education for Party members at different levels and in different positions, and effectively improving the pertinence and effectiveness of study and education.
