On May 4th, Lu Zhong Hua, Party Committee Secretary of the Demonstration Zone, conducted a random inspection of safety production work in areas such as building construction, water conservancy, and offshore water projects using the "four nos, two direct" approach. He emphasized the importance of thoroughly studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on safety production, always maintaining a sense of urgency and a bottom-line awareness of safety production, continuously checking for risks and hidden dangers in key areas and critical links, strictly preventing all kinds of accidents and disasters, and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

At the construction site of the InterContinental Holiday Hotel complex project, Lu Zhong Hua and his entourage carefully listened to a briefing on the project's progress. Currently, the main structures of the project have all exceeded three stories, and it is expected that the main structure will be topped out in August this year and put into use by the end of next year. He demanded that the construction unit closely monitor weather conditions, promptly conduct emergency rescue drills, comprehensively manage safety production and engineering quality, and strictly prevent all kinds of accidents.

"How is the duty and standby situation? How are various preventive measures being implemented?" At the Smart Water Conservancy Control Center, Lu Zhong Hua carefully listened to a report on the management of the sluice area and the operation of the center during the holiday period. He pointed out that as a key unit for ensuring water conservancy safety, the sluice management office should take a higher position, strengthen its sense of responsibility, strengthen duty and standby, promptly grasp the situation of rain, water, and work, comprehensively implement the management of sluices, seawall patrols, flood control dispatch, and other work to ensure safe flood control.

At the Donggangchi seawall, Lu Zhong Hua inspected the construction progress of the Donggangchi gate project and listened to a report from the responsible comrades of the relevant units. As of now, 330,000 cubic meters of the Donggangchi gate dredging project has been completed, and excavation of the gate will begin in June. Lu Zhong Hua pointed out that quality and safety are the lifeblood of the project. All participating parties must attach great importance to this, earnestly implement the main responsibilities of enterprises, comprehensively strengthen safety supervision, meticulously implement preventive measures, and ensure that the project is completed on schedule and yields benefits.

At the construction site of the Lanshui Marine Engineering Equipment project, Lu Zhong Hua went deep into the newly built workshop to learn in detail about the project construction, site management, and responsibility implementation. He pointed out that safety control responsibilities should be implemented to individuals, cross-operations should be properly arranged, various safety production guarantee measures should be effectively strengthened, and various safety risks during construction should be strictly controlled.

During the inspection, Lu Zhong Hua emphasized that all departments and units should adhere to the principle of "the top leader taking the lead in grasping safety production," strictly implement the requirements of "party and government joint responsibility, post responsibility, joint responsibility, and accountability for dereliction of duty," implement risk hazard investigation and rectification work in a list-based and node-based manner, ensure that there are no blind spots in safety production, and strive to use the "hard work index" of cadres to improve the "safety index" and "happiness index" of the masses.
