The training course content is profound and rich in connotation, pointing out the direction and path for young cadres in Tongzhou Bay to strive for. Recently, 30 young and middle-aged cadres from the demonstration zone's training class for young and middle-aged cadres participated in a unique "case-based governance" class, said Shen Jiayu, deputy director of the demonstration zone's ecological environment bureau.

This is another important measure of the demonstration zone's Party Working Committee's implementation of the "striving for maritime strength" action to forge a team of capable pioneers. The training class selected 30 outstanding backbone members through a point training format. The 30-day training program uses a centralized, closed, and off-job training format, covering various forms such as on-site teaching, overseas study tours, and research projects.

This year marks the beginning of the construction of the Tongzhou Bay petrochemical dual-circulation base and the year with the most major provincial projects since the establishment of Tongzhou Bay. Faced with the new development situation, it is urgent to establish a development team with high quality, flexible thinking, broad vision, willingness to work hard, and strong fighting capacity. Lu Zhong Hua, secretary of the demonstration zone's Party Working Committee, stated that the training class aims to use the method of "theoretical discussion + practical experience" to enable young cadres to understand their responsibilities in deeply understanding the general trend of development, to take on their responsibilities in striving for breakthroughs, and to cultivate strong shoulders and the ability to shoulder heavy responsibilities through hard work and training, promoting the acceleration and improvement of major projects and various tasks in the demonstration zone, and cultivating a high-quality and professional team of young and middle-aged cadres who meet the requirements of the new era for the long-term development of Tongzhou Bay.

Since the beginning of this year, the demonstration zone's Party Working Committee has focused on "revitalizing" cadre education and training, making every effort to strengthen the foundation, build platforms, and make up for shortcomings, focusing on cultivating and building a high-quality cadre team capable of undertaking the important task of striving for maritime strength. Cooperating with the Nantong Municipal Party School to jointly build the Tongzhou Bay branch school, cooperation is carried out in teaching point development, the cultivation of proprietary courses, and the development of specialized training programs, striving to create a new model for the construction of party schools in development zones; the "Focusing on Dual Circulation, Bravely Striving for Maritime Strength" cadre lecture hall has been established, with "one theme per season, one class per week," inviting experts, scholars, and industry leaders to give lectures on weekends, focusing on comprehensively improving the comprehensive quality of cadres. Thirteen sessions have been held so far, with a total of more than 800 trainees.
