On May 15, Lu Zhong Hua, Party Committee Secretary of the Demonstration Zone, presided over a dispatch meeting on the prevention and response to strong winds in the sea area. He emphasized the need to further strengthen risk awareness and bottom-line thinking, strengthen organizational leadership, and strengthen the implementation of responsibilities. Measures should be taken to address the potential impact of strong winds on residents' lives, enterprise production, road traffic, agricultural production, etc., to ensure emergency prevention and the safety of people's lives and property.

At the meeting, Lu Zhong Hua listened to reports from key units, including the Emergency Management Bureau (Disaster Reduction Office), the Construction and Transportation Bureau, the Port Management Bureau, the Meteorological Sub-bureau, and the Maritime Patrol and Law Enforcement Detachment. He stressed the importance of taking this seriously. Always upholding the people's interests and lives as paramount, maintaining vigilance against disasters, overcoming complacency and taking chances, striving for 'foolproof' work to prevent 'one mistake leading to countless failures', and making every effort to ensure the safety of people's lives and property in the demonstration zone and the stability of the overall development situation. He stressed the importance of strict prevention. Since the beginning of the flood season, there has been an increase in disastrous weather such as strong winds and heavy rain. All departments and units must adhere to proactive response and upgraded response levels, closely monitor weather changes, prepare emergency supplies and rescue teams, and remind and urge supervised entities to implement preventive measures to prevent disasters comprehensively. He stressed the importance of strengthening coordination. Comprehensive coordination departments such as the Disaster Reduction Office and the Flood Control Office should strengthen overall planning and implement mechanisms for scheduling and consultations, ensuring both deployment and follow-up to form a closed loop. All departments and units should perform their duties, actively coordinate, and work in the same direction, implementing duty and information reporting to form a strong force for preventing natural disasters.
Demonstration Zone leaders Qin Jian, Qian Jin, and Shen Jie, and relevant responsible comrades from the Demonstration Zone attended the meeting.
