On May 15, Gu Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee, and his entourage visited the district to investigate billion-yuan projects. Shi Hongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee, participated in the investigation.

At the symposium, both sides conducted in-depth communication and exchange on the construction status, difficulties in promotion, next steps, and suggestions on project promotion and service of the billion-yuan projects under construction in the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone.

Gu Xiaoming gave full affirmation to the demonstration zone's achievements in promoting billion-yuan projects. He stated that the strategic cooperation agreement signed between the provincial government and the PetroChina Group is a major positive development for the landing of the PetroChina Blue Ocean New Materials project. The demonstration zone should maintain confidence, adhere to a problem-oriented approach, clarify work priorities, and accelerate the start and construction of billion-yuan projects. The municipal project office will actively encourage relevant municipal departments to take the initiative and strive for support at the provincial and national levels.

Shi Hongjie pointed out that the demonstration zone will use "competition" as a driving force, coordinating and rapidly advancing provincial major projects such as PetroChina Blue Ocean New Materials, Fu莱特 Solar Energy Equipment, and Huaneng Large-scale Clean and Efficient Coal-fired Power Generation, continuing to sort out, supplement, and refine the problems existing in the promotion of the above-mentioned billion-yuan projects, actively seeking support from higher-level departments, and providing efficient service and support for the start and construction of major projects.

Before the meeting, Gu Xiaoming and his entourage visited the PetroChina Blue Ocean New Materials project and the Fu莱特 ultra-thin, high-transparency panel and backplane project site for solar energy equipment, comprehensively and thoroughly understanding the project progress and the actual needs of the enterprises.

Gu Yong, member of the Party Working Committee and vice director of the Management Committee of the Demonstration Zone; Zhu Jun, from Blue Ocean New Materials Company; and relevant responsible comrades from the Party and Government Office, Economic Development Bureau, Investment Attraction and Service Center, and PetroChina special task force of the Demonstration Zone participated in the investigation.
