To thoroughly promote and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on safety production, establish a firm safety development concept, solidify the primary responsibility for safety production, and strengthen safety publicity, training, and education, on the afternoon of May 31, Shi Hongjie, Deputy Secretary of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee, Director of the Management Committee, and Director of the Safety Committee, delivered a special lecture on the topic of "Learning Important Statements, Pursuing Safe Development."

Shi Hongjie provided an in-depth interpretation of the profound connotation and core essence of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on safety production from six aspects: "Correctly understanding the relationship between safety and development, establishing a firm safety development concept; always remembering the invaluable nature of life and prioritizing safety, strengthening the bottom-line thinking on safety; adhering to responsibility and defense at all levels, solidifying the responsibility for safety production; implementing classified and graded precision measures, strengthening safety risk prevention and control; maintaining long-term vigilance and not slacking off, strengthening the investigation and rectification of hidden dangers; continuously enhancing the awareness of potential risks, and continuously strengthening emergency management." By analyzing the changes in the safety production situation at the national, provincial, municipal, and demonstration zone levels, and using local typical cases, he emphasized the importance of current accident prevention efforts, the urgency of risk control and hidden danger management, and clearly explained the methods and measures for safety work. He also put forward relevant requirements for various departments and units to implement the General Secretary's requirements and fulfill their responsibilities for safety production.

Shi Hongjie stressed that all departments and enterprises should carefully compare themselves against the overall goals of the "Three-Year Action Plan for Fundamental Improvement," combine their industry characteristics, and promote the effectiveness of current key safety production work from three aspects: enhancing the investigation of major accident hidden dangers, conducting special rectifications in key industries and fields, and strengthening grassroots infrastructure construction.

Nearly 100 people participated in the event, including heads of member units of the Demonstration Zone Safety Committee and representatives of those responsible for safety in various fields within the jurisdiction, such as industry and commerce, construction, villages (communities), schools, large supermarkets, and property management.
