A delegation from the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone conducted economic and trade exchanges in Japan

From June 10th to 14th, Deng Chengjie, member of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee, led a delegation to Japan for economic and trade cooperation and exchange activities. The delegation actively contacted institutions, visited companies, and held events to promote the investment environment of Nantong and Tongzhou Bay.

On June 11th, the delegation participated in the "Nantong-Japan Economic and Trade Cooperation Symposium" held in Tokyo by the Nantong Municipal Government. At the symposium, Deng Chengjie signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhang Zhengbo, president of the China-Japan Business and Trade Promotion Association, further deepening cooperation between the two sides in project attraction, technology introduction, and trade exchanges. Following the symposium, in-depth exchanges were held with participating entrepreneurs, further expanding the "circle of friends" in Japan.

On June 12th, the Demonstration Zone and the China-Japan Business and Trade Promotion Association jointly held the "Tongzhou Bay-Tokyo Economic and Trade Cooperation Symposium" in Tokyo. More than ten heads of enterprises and institutions participated in the event, including the China-Japan Business and Trade Promotion Association, TYS Building Repair Co., Ltd., the Japan Business Psychology Association, the Association of Doctors in Japan, Wu Ying Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the JQA R&D Center, and Gongyan Cradle Company. During the event, Deng Chengjie signed a framework agreement for the research and development and manufacturing of intelligent exterior wall inspection robots with Mr. Sato Noboru, president of TYS Building Repair Co., Ltd., and an unveiling ceremony for the Tongzhou Bay representative office in Japan was held. Deng Chengjie introduced the investment environment of Nantong and Tongzhou Bay to the attendees and extended a sincere invitation to Japanese entrepreneurs.

During their stay in Japan, the delegation also visited several companies and institutions, including TYS Building Repair Co., Ltd., Sankyo Co., Ltd., the JQA R&D Center, Xinda Co., Ltd., and Hokkaido University, to promote the Demonstration Zone and discuss cooperation.

Mr. Watanabe Taku, president of the Japan Business Psychology Association and professor at Teikyo Heisei University, stated that Tongzhou Bay possesses scarce port resources and unique locational advantages, making it very suitable for Japanese companies to invest and develop. He expressed a willingness to serve as a bridge and link to attract more entrepreneurs to pay attention to, understand, and invest in Tongzhou Bay, and looks forward to visiting Tongzhou Bay soon. Professor Shi Xu from Hokkaido University, specializing in photochemistry and nanophotonics, expressed great optimism about the development prospects of Tongzhou Bay and a willingness to strengthen cooperation and pursue common development with the Demonstration Zone in the research and development and manufacturing of new materials.
