The Tongzhouwan high-end equipment industry supporting wharf has passed the navigation safety check, with a designed annual throughput capacity of 700,000 tons

Recently, an expert consultation meeting on the navigational safety technical parameters registration was held for the Nantong Huaju Port Service Co., Ltd. wharf project in the Nantong Port Tongzhouwan Port Area. After thorough discussion, a consensus was reached that the project meets the conditions for navigational safety technical parameters registration and successfully passed the navigational safety check.

 

 

The Nantong Huaju Port Service Co., Ltd. wharf is located at the west end of the inner harbor in the Sanjiasha operating area of the Tongzhouwan Port Area. It has one 20,000-ton general cargo berth, with a designed annual throughput of 700,000 tons. After completion, the project is expected to produce 40,000 tons of wind power equipment, 48,000 tons of marine intelligent modules, 80,000 tons of special steel structures, and 140,000 tons of large-scale steel structures for collaborative assembly annually. Upon reaching full production capacity, the estimated annual output value is expected to reach 1.2 billion yuan.

 

 

Since the commencement of construction, the Nantong Maritime Department has always adhered to the principle of balancing safety supervision and service, making every effort to ensure the safety of water transportation in the construction area. Guidance has been provided on key issues such as ship pollution prevention, traffic guidance and navigation facilities, and port security, ensuring the safe and orderly completion of the project on schedule.

It is understood that this wharf is an important supporting component of the Tongzhouwan High-end Equipment Coastal Industrial Park. The successful safety check lays a solid foundation for the official opening and operation of the port. After completion and commissioning, the project will provide port area enterprises with more convenient transportation channels and more comprehensive service guarantees, further promoting the development of the port's coastal industries.
