On June 24, the third Nantong Jianghai Elite Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Tongzhou Bay Division and the 2024 Lanwan Elite Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were successfully held. Zhang Hui, Deputy Inspector of the Nantong Municipal Committee Organization Department and President of the Nantong Talent Society; Shi Xingkai, Deputy Secretary of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee; attended the event and delivered speeches. Wang Jing, Party Secretary and Chairman of Nantong Talent Development Group; leaders and academicians from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, Shaanxi Normal University and other universities; and heads of national key laboratories and innovation centers also attended the event.

In his speech, Zhang Hui pointed out that Nantong adheres to the principle of prioritizing talent as the strongest engine for innovative development. For 14 consecutive years, it has implemented the "Jianghai Elite Plan," iteratively upgrading its "New Talent Policies" to attract talent to choose Nantong and settle in Nantong with the utmost sincerity, best resources, and optimal services. Shi Xingkai introduced the situation of the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone from four aspects: unprecedented strategic superimposed advantages, increasingly prominent transportation and location advantages, rapidly developing industries, and unparalleled innovation and entrepreneurship environment. He stated that the inclusive Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone has gathered a large number of high-quality enterprises and aspiring talents, making it a fertile ground for dreams to take flight and a blessed land full of opportunities. He sincerely invited outstanding talents and elites from all walks of life to come to Tongzhou Bay to innovate and start businesses, becoming "partners" of the demonstration zone and embarking together on a journey of "mutual fulfillment and mutual achievement."

At the roadshow, 10 projects from high-level talent innovation and entrepreneurship teams in the fields of electronics and information, low-altitude economy, new materials, and intelligent equipment took turns to appear on stage, creating a lively atmosphere. After fierce competition, one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes were awarded.

Wang Qiang, participant of the "Research and Industrialization of 'Hump' Military-Civilian Dual-Use Heavy-Load Unmanned Helicopter" project, spoke highly of the project roadshow, stating that this event provided a platform for self-expression and learning, and he looks forward to the project's early implementation in Tongzhou Bay, injecting new impetus into the development of the region's new productivity.

Xu Xiaoyong, who presented the roadshow project "Research and Industrialization of All-Digital Low-Altitude Sensing Radar," stated that through this event, he gained a deeper understanding of Nantong and Tongzhou Bay's industrial ecology and talent policies, and felt the high importance and support Tongzhou Bay places on talent. He hopes to have the opportunity to innovate and start a business in Tongzhou Bay in the future and further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone.
