Adjustment of major leadership at the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone Court

On June 24, a leadership cadre meeting was held at the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone Court to announce the decision of the Municipal Committee to adjust the main leadership of the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone Court. Liu Kun, Party Secretary and President of Nantong Intermediate People's Court; Lu Zhonghua, Party Committee Secretary of the Demonstration Zone; and Zhang Zhimin, member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Political Department of Nantong Intermediate People's Court, attended the meeting. Bao Xiaowang, member of the Demonstration Zone Party Working Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, presided over the meeting.

The meeting read out the decision of the Municipal Committee on adjusting the main leadership of the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone Court, announcing that Xu Lifei was appointed as the candidate for the president of the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone Court.

Liu Kun expressed full affirmation of the achievements made by Zhang Ji since his appointment to the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone Court. At the same time, he hoped that Xu Lifei would unite and lead the party group and all officers and police of the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone Court to seek truth and be pragmatic, forge ahead, strive for the first place, and create a unique achievement.

Liu Kun's requirements:

1. Always adhere to political guidance. We must always prioritize the Party's political construction, be guided by Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and continuously strengthen and improve the work of the courts. We must always uphold the Party's absolute leadership over the work of the courts to ensure that the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee, the Provincial Committee, and the Municipal Committee are implemented effectively in the courts throughout the city.

2. Always focus on serving development. We must coordinate development and security, severely crack down on criminal offenses, and ensure the overall social stability and security. We must provide proactive legal services to support the breakthroughs in major projects, the construction of a strong manufacturing city, and economic development strategies such as cross-river and seaward development. We must strengthen the judicial protection of technological innovation and increase the protection of industrial innovation.

3. Always focus on law enforcement and case handling. We must focus on the weaknesses and shortcomings of trial efficiency, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of index data according to the new index system, and maximize the resolution of cases and disputes. We must fully and accurately implement the judicial responsibility system, comprehensively promote the review and verification mechanism, and win the trust of the people and enhance public credibility with high-quality and efficient trial and execution work.

4. Always strictly manage and lead the team. We must further deepen the achievements of Party discipline education and team education rectification, and take the lead in carrying forward the fine traditions of the Party. We must adhere to the principle of strengthening Party building to strengthen team building and promote trial work, taking serving the central task, strengthening trial management, and promoting quality improvement and efficiency enhancement as the focus of branch construction, and further enhancing the cohesion of Party building work.

Lu Zhonghua, on behalf of the Party Working Committee of the Demonstration Zone, expressed gratitude for Zhang Ji's contributions in recent years, welcomed Xu Lifei's appointment, and made clear requirements for the court's work.

We must closely follow the construction goals of the Tongzhouwan petrochemical dual-circulation base, consciously integrate judicial trial work into the overall development of Tongzhouwan. We must continue to deepen the annual activities to improve the business environment and participate in the construction of the "Everything is smooth in Tongzhou Bay" brand in an all-round way. We must thoroughly advance the normalization of the fight against gangsters and evil, use the "integrated court" as a lever, and deeply connect with and integrate into the construction of the "one-stop" litigation service platform.

3. Strengthen work style and forge a strong team. We must continuously solve development problems, promote the development of our cause, and always maintain high spirits. We must correctly handle the relationship between democracy and centralism, the relationship between individuals and collectives, and the relationship between small and big things, forming a united and fighting collective force.
