Great News! The Demonstration Zone talent project wins awards in the city-wide competition

On July 12, the final of the 3rd Nantong Jianghai Elite Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at the Nantong International Conference Center. 21 outstanding projects, selected from 614 projects in more than ten cities across the country, competed on-site. The military-civilian dual-use heavy-duty unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) research and industrialization project from our district won third place and received the second prize in the competition.

Award-winning projects in this competition that meet the basic application conditions of the "Jianghai Elite" municipal introduction project (industrial category) will be directly included in the on-site investigation of the 2025 "Jianghai Elite" municipal introduction project (industrial category), without occupying the recommendation quota of each region. The competition ultimately awarded 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 8 third prizes.

Military-civilian dual-use heavy-duty unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) research and industrialization project

This project involves the research, production, and sales of heavy-duty unmanned helicopters. Product applications cover various fields, including military, foreign trade, electric power, agriculture, public security, emergency fire fighting, rescue and relief, and geological exploration. The heavy-duty unmanned helicopter adopts a tandem dual-rotor configuration and high-robustness unmanned helicopter autonomous flight control technology. It features a large transport payload, long delivery range, large loading space, diverse mounting points, wide center of gravity adaptation range, and flexible takeoff and landing. A series of products have been applied to civil transportation, emergency fire fighting, rescue, and geological surveys, and have won first place multiple times in industry operation and exercise assessments.

In recent years, the demonstration zone has cultivated the "new blue ocean" of innovation and entrepreneurship, continuously upgrading talent policies, building high-quality talent communities, and striving to create a new highland for talent aggregation and a new engine for technological innovation. In 2024, our district actively connected with universities and research institutes outside the province, holding 5 "Lanwan Elite" innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and talent and technology docking activities in Xi'an, Changsha, and other places, successfully attracting 4 talent entrepreneurship projects and achieving 5 technological cooperation projects between enterprises and universities. To date, Tongzhou Bay has cumulatively attracted and cultivated 3 national-level talent program selectees, 8 provincial-level talent program selectees, and 20 municipal-level talent program selectees.

Next, the demonstration zone will continue to focus on the goal of "innovation-driven high-quality development," continuously activating innovation and entrepreneurship resources, improving and implementing talent policies, promoting talent and industry "two-way rush" through industry-gathering talent and talent-promoting industry.
