At Tuanjie New Sluice, Lu Zhong Hua inspected the reserves of flood prevention materials and inquired in detail about the seawall patrol and sluice operation. He stated that, in view of the current flood prevention situation, it is necessary to effectively raise the political standing, further strengthen risk awareness, establish a bottom-line thinking, prepare for major floods and major risks, conduct advance assessments and emergency responses, prepare sufficient flood prevention materials, and build a solid flood prevention line, ensuring flood safety with solid and meticulous work.
At the Sanjiasha Harbor Pool Port Area, Lu Zhong Hua carefully reviewed the patrol records of the coastal embankment and expressed condolences to the staff who were steadfastly guarding the embankment. He stressed that the current embankment safety is paramount in flood prevention work. It is necessary to overcome complacency and luck, using methods such as "human defense + technical defense," to identify weaknesses and promptly eliminate safety hazards. Relevant departments should pay close attention to the safety of port and coastal construction operations, strictly implement embankment patrol and guarding, prepare flood prevention materials, and conduct emergency plan drills, implementing responsibilities and measures to the frontline, making every effort to strictly prevent and guard against risks, and ensuring a safe flood season.
