Safety is paramount. To further enhance traffic safety awareness among employees and residents in the demonstration zone, prevent and reduce traffic accidents, and effectively prevent and reduce risks of road traffic accidents, the First Office recently joined hands with the Nantong Municipal Traffic Police Detachment to conduct a series of community traffic safety activities in the Tuanjie Community during residents' leisure time.
During the activity, road traffic safety advocates, using a friendly and approachable manner, thoroughly explained traffic laws and regulations and common sense to the residents and employees present, focusing on the dangers of drunk driving, fatigued driving, overloading, speeding, not wearing seat belts or helmets, and running red lights. A video showcasing local traffic accident cases vividly depicted the dangerous scenes of car accidents, effectively raising everyone's awareness of traffic safety.
Community party members and cadres also guided residents to enhance their awareness of wearing helmets while driving and properly fastening seat belts in vehicles through on-site Q&A and distribution of safety brochures, urging residents to abandon any侥幸心理 (lucky mentality) and always remember the importance of safety. Finally, employees and residents watched the films "War Dawn" and "A Life Dedicated to the Party" to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, enriching the cultural lives of the community.
By bringing traffic safety into the community, the First Office will continue to cooperate with the traffic police department to strengthen road traffic law enforcement and management, increase daily publicity on road traffic safety, enhance the awareness of community residents and employees to understand, abide by, and uphold the law, cultivate good habits of safe and civilized travel, and subtly improve traffic safety awareness to ensure safe travel and a safe return home, laying a solid foundation for building a safe, smooth, and orderly road traffic environment in the demonstration zone.
