Pilot Zone Launches 'Implementing the 20th National Congress of the CPC, Forging Ahead on a New Journey' Hundred-Session Thematic Publicity Campaign in Grassroots Communities

To further promote the in-depth, practical, and heartfelt study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, on the afternoon of May 23, the demonstration zone officially launched the "Implementing the 20th National Congress and Forging Ahead on a New Journey" series of 100 thematic lectures for grassroots communities. Shi Xingkai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the demonstration zone, attended the event and delivered a speech. Huang Zhengping, a special researcher of the Jiangsu Provincial Research Center for Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and director of the New Era Theoretical Armament Research Center of Nantong University, was present to provide guidance.

In recent years, the demonstration zone has steadily advanced its theoretical lecture work. The "mobile classroom" project for theoretical learning won the 14th County (City) District Propaganda Ideology and Culture Reform and Innovation Award. New achievements have been made in the "five-pronged approach" to promoting the Party's innovative theories, and Party organizations at all levels have continuously refined their political loyalty and consolidated their ideological foundation. In the "mobile classroom," one red story after another recounts the glorious history of Tongzhou Bay; in the fields and courtyards, one "small talk" after another expounds "big principles"; during breaks in the workshop and project intervals, one "small perspective" after another reflects the "big theme"; and on online live streams, one "young rider" after another eloquently explains the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC... Using the simplest language and the most down-to-earth approach, the Party's innovative theories have reached the hearts of the people.

3. Consolidate responsibilities and promote the implementation and effectiveness of theoretical lectures. Attach great importance to theoretical lecture work, maintain the correct political direction, make full use of high-quality resources such as the "Learning Power" learning platform, transform the discourse system, innovate discourse expression, innovate theoretical lecture methods, consolidate the "wildfire-like" lecture methods, give full play to the exemplary role of various advanced models, increase publicity and promotion efforts, and fully demonstrate the practical exploration and achievements of new-era theoretical lecture work.

Huang Zhengping gave full affirmation to the grassroots theoretical lecture work in the demonstration zone. He stated that theoretical workers must understand and believe in the theory before they can explain and disseminate it. Only then will the lectures have depth, the audience have breadth, and the message be convincing. If the theory is too esoteric, the masses won't understand; if it's too superficial, the masses won't grasp it. The theory must be thorough to be persuasive and simple to be understood. Lecturers should, on the basis of continuous learning of the Party's innovative theories, conduct independent, meticulous, and mature thinking, starting from historical origins and using practical evidence to bring lectures back to theory. He hopes that more lecture leaders will emerge from towns and villages to expand the demonstration zone's lecture team and strengthen its lecture force.
