Sharing Investment Opportunities and Discussing the Future of Cooperation—Demonstration Zone Delegation Visits the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade to Conduct Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchanges

From September 8th to 11th, the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter referred to as "CIFIT") was held in Xiamen. To deepen economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone and international and domestic counterparts, promote complementary advantages, gather resources, and demonstrate the zone's strengths, the demonstration zone organized relevant enterprises to participate in the event.

CIFIT serves as a barometer and indicator of China's outbound investment and foreign investment attraction. This year's conference, themed "Investment Connecting the World," attracted participants from 120 countries and regions, 18 international organizations, over 1,000 domestic and foreign government agencies and business enterprises, and nearly 80,000 business people, all gathering for this two-way investment promotion event.

On the morning of September 9th, Shi Xingkai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Demonstration Zone, participated in the China-UAE Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference. During the exchange session between Chinese and UAE representatives, Shi Xingkai introduced Nantong and the Tongzhouwan Demonstration Zone to the attendees and engaged in discussions with representatives on cooperation and future development between China and the UAE in areas such as finance, technology, energy, and manufacturing. Tang Wenhong, Assistant Minister of Commerce of China; Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Economy; and Wang Jinfu, Vice Governor of Fujian Province, delivered speeches. Representatives from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Legendary Holdings Group, Borouge, and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. also attended.

During CIFIT, enterprises from the demonstration zone, including Qinshi Jiamei and Chengyede Electronics, participated in the event and exhibition. At the "Leading China • Tongzhouwan" special roadshow and promotion event, Deng Chengjie, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of the Demonstration Zone, introduced the commonalities between Nantong and Xiamen in terms of geography, resources, and historical origins, promoted the development status and business environment of Tongzhouwan, and extended a sincere invitation to the attendees for a "Nanhuanghai Rendezvous," inviting guests to Tongzhouwan to create more inspiring "poetry and distance." Qinshi Jiamei Energy Technology (Nantong) Co., Ltd. and Changyin Auto Parts Nantong Co., Ltd. participated in the roadshow and promotion.

On the evening of September 8th, the delegation participated in the "Gulangyu Night" brand event, engaging in in-depth communication and exchanges with the Deputy Director of the Office of the President of the Republic of Zambia, the Commercial Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Namibia, Elserdi Electric Power Company, Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd., and the American Chamber of Commerce in South China, focusing on expanding cooperation areas and building economic and trade cooperation platforms. Representatives from the Serbian Ministry of Economy, Southern Province of Zambia, Fujian Province, the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies, international organizations, ambassadors to China, international business associations, multinational corporations, domestic and foreign industry leaders, and leading enterprise executives attended the event.

Leveraging the broad platform of CIFIT, the demonstration zone comprehensively promoted its locational advantages and industrial development potential through exhibitions and enterprise roadshows, actively connecting with foreign envoys, international organizations, business associations, and multinational corporations, effectively enhancing the demonstration zone's visibility and influence. Next steps will involve using CIFIT as a springboard to continuously deepen international economic and trade cooperation, attract more high-quality projects and products, cultivate distinctive and advantageous modern industrial systems, and promote high-quality development of the demonstration zone.
